This 1985 investigation by the Women and Media group of journalists reports on the problems faced by women and women’s organisations during the anti-reservation agitation in Gujarat. It is based on a visit to Ahmedabad in August 1985, as well as interviews, an analysis of newspaper reports and the report of a citizen’s group.
