Wanted experienced candidates for three job profiles (no freshers please):

• Desk editors (only experienced book or journal editors need apply)
  A desk editor will be expected to quality check the work of others in terms of editorial content and style and ensure that edited work meets the quality of excellence of Sage Publications India Private Ltd, within a stipulated timeframe. The candidate must have outstanding editing and written skills; and some team leadership experience. The applicant must be self motivated, deadline driven, have sound general knowledge, be well read and preferably be a post-graduate.
• Proof readers
  You will be responsible for reading proofs to ensure that manuscripts are error-free. You need to have an eye for detail and a command of the English language. Preference will be given to the applicant who has proof reading experience and who can work under the pressure of deadlines.
• Candidate with typesetting and pre-press publishing experience
