Vietnamese blogger is in jail for writing against the government

Ta Phong Tan is one of three bloggers on the website Free Journalists Club. She has been in prison in Vietnam since September 2011, facing trial for "distorting the truth, denigrating the party and state". In July, Tan's mother immolated herself outside the People's Committee party office, to protest her daughter's incarceration.
